SAN GIMIGNANO declared by UNESCO to be part a World's Architectural Heritage. Very famous wine is the VERNACCIA di SAN GIMIGNANO, its well merited fame derives from its quality and appraisable characteristics.

MONTERIGGIONI is the typical example of a fortified medieval village sitting on a small natural hillock. It was built in the 13th century. The Circular Walls are of an elliptic form and enclose the summit of a high hill called Monte Ale which dominates the surrounding hills and plains.

The VAL D'ORCIA stretches from the hills south of Siena to Monte Amiata, and is made up by gentle, carefully-cultivated hills occasionally broken by gullies or patches of erosion. Not to lose: San Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza, Castiglione, Radicofani and Montepulcino. Bagno Vignoni has been known for its thermal springs since ancient times and this village has a truly unique atmosphere. The main piazza is basically an enormous bath filled with steaming water (though unfortunately it is not at present possible to bathe in it). Montalcino is known throughout the world as the home of BRUNELLO, an exceptional wine.

CHIANTI is a large wine zone extending through much of Tuscany, it is known for its beauty and its irresistible fascination.
All of the zone is DOCG status, and it is divided into seven districts.

The village of Montefioralle is probably one of the most ancient in Chianti and is still today enclosed within its original walls
